Ok got to ask you guys puttung the towel in between the top and the Tonneau Cover, does your Tonneau Cover have the foam blocks on it? Mine has the foam blocks and I dont notice the rub marks as much. I use my cover almost every time I have the top down.

and as far as flying off I also have never had a problem with that. but I do keep an eye on it a lot more noe that others are having them fly off.

Do you have the new style tonneau? With the bungee cords instead of the snaps. I have the new design with the cords and blocks and have not noticed excessice rub marks.

I run with mine off 99% of the time. I hate having to watch it while I'm on the freeway and I get more rub marks when I use it than when I don't. That's WITH the towel underneath it also. I really only put it on for car shows/car meets or if someone is going to see Ginger for the first time and I know I won't be getting on the highway at all.

I also have the foam blocks on my tonneau cover with the original design, and have never had an issue with rub marks from the cover, I use it 100% when top down and it takes about one minute to put it on. The plastic clips hold it on great, I've had it over 100mph and never an issue about coming off. Ya gotta make sure it's on right.

How many miles do you have on your car? I didn't notice the marks until after a few thousands miles.
