I built a 09' Cadillac CTS-V for Bonneville Salt Flats and have a contact a Getrag. The rear diff looks very close to it and the CTS-V with the LS-A comes with the following.

Automatic-3.23
Manual-3.73

Just food for thought

the car does 1800 rpm at 80 mph in 6th gear. That's with stock 3.42's. I wouldn't be afraid to take it to 4.11's.

No, 4th is the same as it has always been.

He was saying that with the taller tire, it ACTS like 3 regulars and 3 ODs, He was comparing 4th in the Camaro to 5th in most other cars. Look at the 4th gens, what was that tire, like 25.5" tall??? that car in 5th is like the 5th gen in 4th due to the 28.?" tire.

I was talking of total gearing and not just transmission gearing. It includes transmission/tire height/rear end.

According to the calculator I found on the internet: Assuming a 28.8 inch tire and M6:
A 4.50 rear gear would do 125mph in 4th gear at 6,563 rpm. Ideal for the Quarter Mile, if trying to run 120-125mph.
5th gear would hit 150mph at 6,615 rpm (speed limiter is 155 mph)
6th would hit 200mph at 5,985 rpm if you had the horsepower to reach it.
It would cruise at 70mph at 2,095 rpm in 6th and stock 3.42 rear gear in 6th 70mph cruise would be 1,600 rpm.
