Ok. I'll contribute something. Holding the Traction control button for about 5 seconds disables all the Nannies (except Torque management I believe) for fun sideways action.

Park faraway from other people, cuz you're paranoid and think that some one would open the door and hit it. My translation::: When some one try to **** with your car its transform in to bubble bee and hit them.

It also helps you find your car at night in a parking lot.

The other cool feature is the lane change blinker. If you just tap the directional stick for either direction it will blink 3 or 4 times on it's own without having to hold it.

I read somewhere if you leave a CGM under a cover for 2 weeks it turns SIM. I may be wrong so I'll check mine when the weather breaks.

Here's one a lot of people have been wondering about. Saw it in another topic.

Previously, I read somwhere that if on the DIC you went to average fuel economy page and held the "set/clr" button as you drove you would see your fuel economy change in realtime. I tried it and found out you do not have to continue holding the button down, only until it beeps. Then you can release it and see your fuel economy change in realtime.

Here's the thread

See, good thread. Just learned something!

If you just bump the turn signal arm the turn signal will flash three times for lane changing.

Speaking of the GTO thread, there was a hidden setting for the DIC that allowed you to display a whole bunch of cool diagnostic readings. (Alternator current, fuel remaining, etc.) Anyone know if theres a hidden menu for the Camaro?

Here's something weird I've noticed with our cars. When the chime sounds, you can hear that a small amp comes on (by the hissing) and the sound plays thru the speakers. I know that this has been the case on other GM cars, which makes it hard to change out the radio, but the really weird part is if you turn the hazards or turn signals on, they too play thru the speakers, which means there is probably no flasher in this car (a guess) and it's all handled by computer...

What you are doing here is just resetting the average..works the same way on every vehicle that shows fuel economy. What you reset is the average. You are only seeing the average since the last reset, the longer you leave the average alone the slower it changes since the longer you go without resetting the greater the data for the average.

Yes if you unlock via the fob in low light conditions the lights come on...

Ability to check diagnostic info/codes via the display is a common "secret" on many late model EFI cars, most time this procedure is not in the owner's manual. Service manual and/or word of mouth is how alot of these things get out...Camaro is likely no different. The procedure would be nice to know.

But speaking of which, how does the upgraded stereo sound? Worth it?

Really where in the trunk??
