HotRod got a 12.95 I think...stock. They may be the first, it all depends on the track they run the car at.....need good conditions!

they didnt run it @ the track......my car with just bolt on's and drag's will be in the 11's....i can promise that...give LMR a few weeks to get the header's & exhaust done and pulley and a better tune some tire's..no problem..my pass i did would have been low 12's if it were winter

Amen, brother. The first time I had my GT500 at the track, on the stock tires, there were two other Shelby's there that could never get their cars out of the 13's. One of them finally came over and asked me what I had done to my car to get it into the twelve's that day. I gave them advice similar to yours (the same technique I was using) and to ride the clutch out versus dropping the clutch and boiling the tires off the line.


It's amazing to me that people would be surprised at this car running mid-12's with only a tune and CAI (and a good driver). I have no doubt with just bolt-on's and a good tires you will be seeing them in the 11's.
