Yep, 77k on her, will be 3 years next month sometime. She's a daily driver for me! Rain, snow, or shine we are out ripping up the streets.

Honestly the nearly $10,000 incident came about because of a $6 valve spring....which I'm sure are sourced from China or somewere. It could and does happen to many engines. I'm just glad they stood up and covered it!

Thank you so much. There has been rumors of this more than actual people it happening to. Good thing you weren't tuned. My valve spring issue was an easy fix so there was no need to do the check and validation.

It seems like the only stock valve springs that I've read about breaking were for the 2010 model year. Can anyone confirm this?

Tell the dealer just to go ahead and drop the LSA in it for the inconvienece you are experiencing.
