Depends on what Gear and speed you're on.
The Drive by Wire and Throttle Control module does take time to react after stepping on the Gas or Downshifting.

The TCM (Transmission Control Module) on the LS was programmed for better mileage.
I'm sure you can apply a different Tune to make it act the way you want.

"Been getting better gas mileage." I mean it just doesn't shock me, it's not GM's fault, it's the hippies and the government sticking their damn nose in there forcing GM, and Ford and everyone else, to develop this crap.

Hey look, GM knows we want better gas mileage, and more power, and I swear they are working on how to get both, they don't need the government tricking them into creating crap like AFM and skip shift that only work if you try and make them work, not if you drvie normal
