Ok, help me understand one thing. How does it bring air to the CAI? I thought a raised cowl would allow the hot air to leave the engine bay through the back and not necessarily bring cold air to the intake.

There is a high pressure area at the base of the windshield that forces air through the ducting in the hood to the CAI. You follow?
