I was told yesterday that the car is in and I won't be able to take delivery until the paperwork from GM arives at the dealership. Spoke with John Fitzpatrick last night and he told me that being shy of the Bumblebee paint that the car is what the Bumblebee looked like in the movie.
Stripes, 21" wheels and the balck painted rims. I will speak again today with John and he will let me know better about the date of the paperwork, he said it looks like Friday.

This is an awesome present because my B-day is Saturday.

thats nice. one lucky person. i never heard about the sweepstakes. it would be nice to get a free car and only have to pay the taxs and insurance.

Those were not the wheels. I would have expected them to be the 20's that are on the SS. Closer to the concept than those 21's. Other than that it would look like the movie car except the paint difference. Stil a nice car tho !

Hmmm... Did he see the movie? Bumblebee in TF had stock wheels, special paint, and the black stripes you see in the pictures in this thread. Bumblebee in TF2 has the Dale Jr. concept's wheels, special yellow paint, the black stripes you see in the aforementioned pictures, and a facelift.

it would have looked closer to the Bumblebee from the movies than this one does... stock silver painted wheels would have been closer to the movie car

I understand that they can't paint the car the correct paint color, and I know they dont make 21" stock wheels, but putting some Autobot logos on the center caps or something outwardly visible as making the car a Bumblebee replica would have been nice... as it stands now, its just another yellow Camaro with longer stripes.

any chance there will be some interior pics coming soon?

A free Camaro SS is very nice but I'm surprised it's not more Bumblebee-like.

I am not sure about any special resale value as it looks like something any of us can order. But a free Camaro is sweet.

IT' FREE who really cares if it looks like the exact car the car in Transformers was not even a pre-production camaro. I would take any FREE CAMARO from GM I am hoping to Win BB # 3 in July

I wish I was so lucky...the car looks great and something tells me sunrise paint and stock rims or not you'll have a load of fun driving it around

I thought they had resolved the brake caliper vibration issue and were nolonger adding the wheel weights for dampening.

Look at the VIN, it's build number 308. Way before they resolved that issue.
