No guide rails on this wash...

People really think Ryan would put his car at risk in any way? Feels like Flametech in here. Just watch the vid, it's kinda cool.

Unique vid brotha, never would've thought to do this.

I loved your video and have taken my CONVERTIBLE thru a car wash and I still have my strips and my TOP DOES NOT LEAK after the experience. What is happening to Camaro5 sounds like what has happen at ModernCamaro.
Guess some people have too much time on their hands. Great job their in Modesto, I grew up around Danville/Alamo/Walnut Creek area. Michael in Virginia

Cool video Ryan! Thanks for sharing, I liked it!

To the haters... first if your car is a DD, it WILL get water spots at some time or another, a good wax will help stop this from happening. Also if you drive in the rain as most Daily Drivers do... there you go... That's why you repair and protect your paint often.

Also... he went through a touch-less car wash... what the hell is going to put swirl marks in the paint with a touch-less? it's water not sand they are shooting through the jets...

Maybe they thought the OP was using a beach towel to dry his car?

People make a lot of assumptions these days and go bonkers based on incomplete information.

A nice sandy one!

Yup. That they do. I am guilty of it a time or two... but I try to limit how often and recognize the fact I did when I do.

Can't really compare with touchless car washes though. I can't remember the last time I saw a car wash that beats the hell out of your car like that one.

Still for me, run through a touchless car wash, bring your drying towels or mitt, remove the excess water after running through the dryer and your golden.

While I'm off racing this weekend you have a good time looking at your bubble wrapped car. I'll be sure not post vids of that event since I'm sure another know it all will chime in on how wrong track racing is....
You know what that does to your brakes!! Not to mention the stresses on your suspension and the constant up and down up and down of the RPM!!
