Lots of us, using the Whipple IAT sensor, with the stock or Whipple tune, show ~15F lower IAT.

This is based on key on, not running, 24+hr cooldown, constant room temp, verified by the coolant temp, and the radio air temp gauge.

Example:
85F coolant, 85F air temp = 70F IAT
35F coolant, 36F air temp = 20F IAT

I simply added 15F to every cell in the cal table.

So far no body from Whipple has been able to explain the difference.

This is a cause for at least some explanation from Whipple. I will mention however that at track rentals where I get 20-25 runs per rental w/ back to back hotlapping 3-4 runs together, I never lose more than a tenth fully heatsoaked. Of course I usually run in really cool weather but still I`m happy w/ the results.
