Not sure how the two got mixed up, but just to be clear:
The black photo on the first post is a ZTA by a totally different company.

The lingenfelter TA is the white one with the blue accents. It's based off the 1970 1/2 Trans Am.

it looks okay, and it's a novelty, but Pontiac is no more, and it left the factory as a Camaro...therefore it's a Camaro

I think it's pretty cool. The wheels are ugly, though.

I don't like the black or the white.

"Production?" I guess it depends on what you classify as production.

Not how I'd spend my money, that's for sure!

$55,000 to send it off and make it. There are two companies doing this right now. It's over a year old. There are a few already out, but ALL have to be special ordered and are based on a camaro. Kind of like sending a GT to Shelby.....

I saw it in person and it looks pretty awesome.

Can't wait for the remake of "Smokey and the Bandit".

I actually like it...I think the Trans-Am/Firebird was just as iconic as the Camaro. Smokey and the Bandit, Rockford Files (Probably before some of ya'll time), Knight Rider...My mom had a 68' Firebird that I loved growing up...I was shocked when GM killed Pontiac...I believe they had some good things with the Soltice and G8...
