Anybody have problems with OnStar yesterday? - Page 3 - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

OnStar is a great service to have on your car. I took a tour of the OnStar comand center here in the Ren Cen in downtown Detroit when I joined GM. It's a very humbling feeling when you're watching the screen and little icons are appearing on the map of the US as the OnStar module detects vehicle crashes and you know someone's life is in jeopardy just because of that little icon. The tour guide we had told us that when there's large disasters (like the bridge collapse a few years ago) that OnStar is usually one of the first ones to know.

Jessica, am I reading this right. If I bought handsfree minutes, never used them and they expire. I can contact customer service and get them restored?

Hi bkscott,

Yes, the hands free minutes can usually be rolled over or restored with a purchase of hands free calling minutes. We usually have a small 30 minute bundle available for this purpose.

Jessica Thanks for looking into this but the things you did did not work. Tried the updates last night. Then the phone and turn by turn still would not work. I was in town in Louisville Ms. I was then told the same thing I was permitted to a senior advisor.
