Resonator delete

Yeah i am going to call the muffler shop tomorrow.
Do I say cut out the resonator and attach the pipes or have them do a X pipe?? Help haha

I have the stock exhaust with Flowmaster 40 mufflers.

Ask them to cut them out and put an x pipe followed by straight pipes.

I will have them cut out the resonator, but I need to keep the mufflers since I live in CA. So by straight pipes do you mean continue to the mufflers?

He means straight pipe in place of where your resonator was cut out. From there back it will stay as is.

I Had them cut the resonators leaving the xo pipe part, then add straight pipe to the original corsa x pipe back to the axle pipes. Now it is just like the corsa LS3 system xo pipe assy. Just not quite as pretty. The top of the resonators in the pic is forward.

That's what I'm going to tell them to do. Looks good to me. I think the only people that will notice that are the ants on the road. Pretty sure no one is gonna stick their head in the 4 inch clearance that I have to see that

i have the resonators deleted with straight pipe in its place along with some flow super 10s. sounds a hell of alot better and took off alot of weight

I thought the L99 stock mufflers had a j pipe inside them. I saw that picture a few days ago. Ill try to find it later.
