These things are just not that expensive and a $45k car should have them. Excess weight is a cop out...it's circuitry and logic on an already existing circuit board.

I bought my daughter a 2013 Hyundai for $17.6k (out the door) and it has everything option except leather and sunroof...even Bluetooth. The only way to get Bluetooth in a Camaro is buying the top of the line v6 or v8. That is petty BS.
Hmm I got a 1LT with Bluetooth. Not top of the line.

So many complaining the Camaro doesn't have this or that then why did you buy a Camaro if all your going to do is complain about what it doesn't have? Seems stupid to me if you really think that stuff is so important buy something else and be quiet. Geesh. I am sick of people complaining about what it doesn't have.

Are you seriously comparing a compact Korean economy car to a Camaro? I'd rather have a car like a Camaro where the corners are cut on electric interior gadgets, than a Hyundai where the corners are cut on the chassis, structure, steering, engine, transmission, and brakes.

Great another "bitch " thread. Go buy a car with all those features if you want, this is a performance car at a reasonable price.

My theory is that GM will eventually add all this stuff. They want to have things to add on an on-going basis so that people want to upgrade throughout the life of the generation.

Since introduction, they've added:

Power passenger seat
HUD
Leather on the dash
Rear view camera
Touch screen
Navigation

I'm sure that none of the "purists" want any of that stuff. But GM is adding it because there is a market for it. There will be a market for more stuff as well.

Memory seats, automatic climate control, color DIC and other techno-goodies have to be on the way at some point.

I love people who say, "if you complain about this or that, why did you buy a Camaro?" Or, "go buy a Caddilac". Ridiculous responses. We bought a Camaro because we love the look of the Camaro. It's not wrong to want MORE in a Camaro.

I don't drive a Cadillac, I drive a Chevy Camaro. I honestly would rather not have programmable seats because that's just one more random electronic device that requires R&D and possibly adds weight to the car. You may say, "what's another pound of weight?" but to that I would say, "That's why these cars are already so heavy!"
My thoughts exactly. If you really want memory seats I would recommend you try a Cadillac dealer and the CTS-V.

Wrong. Bluetooth is standard on all Camaros.

Exactly, comparing a 16K Hyundai to a Camaro is laughable at best. Yeah, sure Hyundai loads the car w/ all manner of tech and if that is what you want, great. I'm happy for you and your daughter and I sincerely hope the car is safe and reliable. Having said and in full disclosure I have to mention that I sell vehicles for a living and I've been doing so for 13 years. It's my job to know who cuts what corner and I'm sorry to inform you that ALL manufacturers cut here and there to make a buck. The comments from the poster above are correct. You are way out of line if you think Chevy can give you all that you want for under 20K out the door. Apples and oranges.

I have memory seats in my MKX that also work w/ the outside mirrors. I haven't used the memory since the warranty went out because if I press a button the passenger side mirror starts & won't stop - it just goes all the way until the gears start clicking. I have manually stop it with the mirror controls. It's a $70 part that I haven't bought yet because I drive the MKX 98% of the time so it hasn't been worth it.

My points being; I have it on one vehicle & I don't use it, and it's just another thing that's going to break.

The real question is, "When she wakes up, why is she taking your car for a ride and not you?"

Wife has memory seats on her Equinox, and I really like them. Wish they were on the Camaro so that I wouldn't have to adjust the seat every time she drives it. But that is a very minor quibble. The thing I miss most is a map light, especially on he passenger side. I'm glad they included heated seats though. The things I would like to have in it might be long, but in actuality the things that are in it now are good. I really can't complain, it has been a wonderful car to drive and enjoy, and I don't need any of those things to make it better.

Thank you for the great feedback! I will definitely document this into our database where many departments of GM can access the information.
