I buy my "toy" cars knowing full well that it'll spend 3-4 months of the year in the garage without use. The weather here has been decent for the most part through the winter, but what with all the salt and gravel there's no way it will see daylight until March. I frankly don't miss it, because I just don't even think about it. I'm too OCD to risk it. But that's just me.

I feel your pain. I have not had my car out since October 13th. Winters are usually my mod time since the car sits for months anyway.

I am so ready for spring! Utah has had a pretty bad winter this year. Between all the salt and the air quality from our yearly inversion, the thought of moving has crossed my mind!!

Went to track yesterday, road course all morning (broke a sweat 75*) and drag strip all night with the top down.

I started mine yesterday before I took parts off to be painted. Still to cold to drive but painting at the body shop is another story.

If i was to buy another camaro i will be getting a winter set up for it this time around. Oil sprayed, mud guards, winter tires and rims. To make big payment on a car you can only drive 6 months of they year would drive me nuts. There is a guy around here driving a SRT8 challenger 12 months of the year. He has knock off 20 inch SRT rims with winter tires and does just fine.

Or you could pay cash and store it in the winters so it lasts 4 times as long. Salt and cold starts here destroy cars all too quickly.

I know the the West Coast, Mid West and Southern guys will chime in and rub the nice weather and temp's in my face , Im just bored and needed to vent...........Hope everyone else that can is enjoying the holy hell out of thier cars
I'm just Southeast a few states from you here in Pennsylvania. I'm going through that withdrawl too but there isn't much we can do about it at this point. I'm know one thing, I'm not chancing any nice day with all that road salt on the roads. I'll wait till April.

Living in Northern Wisconsin you need to be creative during the winter time. When the ZL1 needs to shut it down for the winter I swap out snowmobiles in the heated garage and start the snow dance. More snow the better, all my car buddies are headed to Eagle River (snow mobile capital of the World) for the week of Feb 5th and we hit the trails. After sledding all day, each evening brings on a discussion of Road America, our annual race day and last years events. If you live in the north suck it up and find alternatives.

At least you have yours to look at. Mine is lord knows where at the moment. Probably on a train or truck getting plastered with every salt and cinder from Canada to Pa.
