Exactly the point I was tying to get across.... Why rely on an outside source? Own the thread, provide all the data you collected and stand behind it. Now your coming across a defensive and by remarks like the one above. It's all in the presentation and you missed the boat here. Just look at it this way if you had all the real world proof that your product did what it was suppose to you wouldn't be able to keep up with the orders. It's almost like you shot yourself in the foot for poor marketing skills. Facts and data are the end all tell all. Simple as that.

Send a message via MSN to Scott@Bjorn3D
Send one to Ted Jannetty, if he shows 25 gain you will sell thousands of them.

I understand what you are saying but our shop is in a small community and if I want to test John Deere parts they will be lining up. We always have relied upon customer testing so not to seem bias. I guess it all depends on the way you look at it. Like you said facts and data will win out in the end just maybe a couple bumps in the road for now.

Thanks Again

35/25 wow, when I installed my VMAX on my modded SS I felt virtually nothing in increased performance or better driveability. I never did dyno the differance but if it gained anything I would have been surprised.

10hp would be the best to expect from just a ported TB. I would expect less.. Some plp gain 0-7hp(back to back on LS3) with a FAST 102mm haha

Any other mods?
LS3 car, long tube headers, hi flow cats, twin fuel pumps, 65lb injectors

The base line run made 10.6 psi and after the install of the ported stock TB, the after run showed 10.3 psi.

The dyno used is a Dyno Dynamics. It does NOT have graph smoothing like the Dynojets do...hence the graphs aren't smooth like the DJ graphs.

I am co-owner of the shop, we have been in business since 2001 and all we tune are domestics.

I understand that people are skeptical of relatively inexpensive parts making good power gains, that's exactly why I did a before and after dyno runs.

If you choose not to believe the results...no problem at all. Was just posting as an outside source.

We did a few pulls after the install of the TB. On the first run after the install, the tires spun on the dyno, so we let the car sit for about 10-15 minutes, did another run and had tire spin, so we tightened the car down a little more and tried to start the run a little lower on the RPM's.

I drove the car 10 minutes to get to work, then it took roughly 15 minutes to strap the car down, hook up sensors and then to do the initial pull. So I tried to make sure on each run the car would be at the same (or close) to the original temps.

Not trying to BS anyone here, just simply giving out some free info. Choose to use it or not.
