I didn't thing Mustang sales have ever fallen below 60,000 annually.

I was in a hurry and I knew that the numbers I had were flawed, so I posted what I saw on a Mustang forum though the numbers are a bit low it still illustrates the point that I was making. Do not know why they would have data that isn't accurate on a Mustang forum but whatever. Though I wonder if the numbers that I found were production by model year instead of deliveries, after all the 2007 number is high along with the 2008 and the 2009 numbers were way low. In other words they over produced in 2007 and 2008 and under produced in 2009.

It's not stupid. It's a good thing.

People not buying Camaros is what led to the nameplate going on hiatus after 2002.

It's not an exclusive car. It's an affordable, mass-produced sports coupe built by one of the world's largest automakers, sold under the second best-selling brand in America, and built in the same assembly plant as the Chevrolet Impala and Equinox.

If you wanted something the Joneses couldn't buy, you should have bought a Ferrari. And if you're so insecure that you're legit upset that other people are buying the same car as you...well...

If you are looking for something more exclusive then you are probably looking at something more costly as well. Maybe a used C6 Z06, or even something that was produced in smaller numbers then that... maybe a used Acura NSX.

That is where the 600# is referenced. The newer GTs are indeed heavier than 2007, and by 300#.
In a stock weight comparo 07GT to 2013SS the is a 500# gap. Obviously, I like cars and I like to drive. The mods took place over six years of ownership. You can understand my reference to "hot rod" platform. For every car mine is faster than there is at least one other faster than mine. So I drive carefully, I have too much invested to wreck the thing.

Nice ride. So how much would you say you have poured into it (purchase + mods) over the last 6 years? If weight is such a big issue why not look at a used C6 Corvette? Even in stock form it would be lighter than your GT with more power.
