Sorry to hear your not happy with your car. The Camaro isn't a perfect car, but what car is? I've had many many cars and i really like this car more than any other car i've owned in the past. All i can say is if your really not happy with it, get it professionally detailed and sell/trade it and move on. Good luck.

Arrow Been there...

...done that...

I had a 2003 911 (996). It was as "needy" as any car.

Water pump replacement ............. $1200
Coolant bottle replacement........... $ 600
Thermostat replacement............... $ 300
Air Oil separator replacement......... $ 700
Oil & filter change........................ $ 230
Washer bottle replacement............ $ 700
Crappy radio replacement.............. $ 1100
Crappy amplifier replacement.......... $ 900
Intermediate shaft bearing repair..... $2200
Rear main seal replacement ............ $ 900
Clutch/TOB replacement..................$2100
Engine reseal.................................$3200

If you blow a motor out of warranty on a 996.... $19,000 ... !!!

They have to drop the engine cradle to do just about anything on those cars.

IMS bearing is a fragile piece of crap... through the 2010 model. I don't know about 2011-13s.

Be careful what you wish for... or hope your pockets are deep... very deep.

The air cooled 911 models are even bigger money pits. I hope you are rich.

Paint has been crap on almost all cars since they deleted lead.

I have noticed the overtly weak paint on my car. I spend about an hour each weekend applying touchup paint to the car.

If I keep the car for five years I figure I will have touched it up to the extent that it will look like it has had a total front end paint job.

He has to be trolling. Or he's just bad at taking care of his car. I've had mine 10 months now and when she's washed up it looks better than the day I took her home.

Not sure what you hope to accomplish with this post. I'm sorry you have had so many issues with your car. Most don't. I don't. I got news for you though. If you think a 911 is gonna be problem free you have NO idea. The only difference is the problems cost 4x as much to fix. If you don't like the car sell it. You already said you don't like it and barely drive it so dump it and put the money towards something else or bank it till you can afford your dream Porsche or Viper. If it's an LS you want maybe a CTS-V would be better.

Good luck.

Sorry you don't like your car. Just as an FYI, make sure your next car is silver or grey. No matter what you will always get chipped paint but at least on silver / grey it is alot less noticable. Same goes for swirl marks after washing it. It will always happen even on the most expensive cars.

If you get a 911 or a Viper I bet you'll be back whinning about how you shouldn't have sold your Camaro....but hey, if you think that'll make you happy then go for it.

Buddy of mine had a'04 911. He wanted a Porsche for a long time. Cool little car and it was real quick but he only had it maybe a year. I was surprised he even kept it that long. He sold it not long after having to put in a pricey clutch. He went to a '13 5.0 and I don't think he has looked back yet.

BTW, you can believe it or not but I paid $31.5k for my 2SS brand new in early 2010. Had to wait almost 6 months to get here.

LMAO. "The paint job that is so bad, Kia feels insulted."

I love that quote. Can't wait to get enough money and get a PROPER paint job for this piece.

I'll agree with most of that, except even with paint chips she still looks like a beast. I guess I just have a better attitude about all of it b/c I know this is how all the new cars are now. It ain't no thing.

If you get a Viper I hope you don't try to
make a trip over 20 miles. They are cramped
uncomfortable seats and they ride awful. Like
the Camaro the engine is great.

I'm sorry you have such bad luck with your car
I have had mine since 2009 and still love the looks
and still love to drive it.

Good luck finding something better.
