I read an aritcel about someone testdriving the concept in Miami about a year or so ago. I really like the look of the car from the pics, but I didn't fall in love until I saw Transformers in theatres this last summer.

It is to be noted that before tis car, I wasn't a car guy. I thought of them mainly as a means for transportation. Now I'm pretty much acknowledged as the guy in my group of friends to ask about cars

yeah i think i first started hearing about it from a buddy of mine who has an '02 camaro...that we put a sound system into.

i have to say though...this pic below...is REALLY HOT! I'd take it like this too.

...although its more retro and less futuristic looking...

...eh...i'm glad they decided to go with the one they did for production!

Ugh, if GM ever decided to make that, or something close to it, I would not be on this site. Its just not my style.

YouTube. It was in February 06 and it was a slide show of pics. I didn't pay any mind. I was actually looking to buy a 4th gen with T-tops off of ebay and then I settled for a an RX-8. A year later I see some more pictures of the car in spoilers of the Transformers movie and I was hooked ever since. Those spyshots of Bumblebee did me in. After seeing the Nurenburg test footage, I set a side an account coinciding with my MBA grad date and set to buy one just like Bumblebee. The last clips, I suggest you guys take a look, get the best angles of the car. The US spy photos of the car while sitting just didn't capture the concept-esque form I was sold on in the begining. This will be my new baby. Mi otra mujer.

Well let's see, I remember it like it was yesterday. NAIAS had started for 06 and I was checking the net rags for all the updates when there it was.............My heart skipped a beat and I still have a perma-grin... From that day on I have wanted nothing more that to get my hands on one... I practically live, eat, breathe, and sleep Camaro...

the 3rd gen is what got me hooked on Camaro's, I've always loved the looks of that car so damn much since i was a kid, but never really knew enough about cars, or what it was, (or cared for that matter), until I saw Transformers & thought "come on Bumble Bee VS a mustang?...is that really a competition?..(but of course me wanting to be a cop 1 of these days i'll have to admit that saleen cop version of the mustang was Awesome.)

I started doing research about this "Camaro" that Bumble Bee had changed into from the previous VW Beetle we all grew to know & love. I of course started researching previous gen's, thanks to wikipedia for the "low down" on camaro's.
and fell in love with the late 4th gen, the 5th gen took a while for me to fall in love with, as i had researched photo's & specs of the late 4th gen so in depth like.

I think when I really truly fell in love with the 5th gen was when I started visiting this site & seeing the true meanings of the camaro, and what this 5th gen meant to people. it's truly fascinating. I personally cant wait to see it hit the streets & knock the socks off of these punks with their v6 standard mustangs that think they're all that because they can "beat a ricer" (by a small margin).

IMO its good in a way to have this camaro be so late in the game, because people who didn't want to wait got the substandard Mustang. and people who can't have anything else because it's never let them down - are waiting for the true muscle car - the 5th gen camaro.
