I'm sure fanboys would preorder a Camaro that had a Z28 badge on it. Which is why they aren't building any Z28s - only Z/28s

Exactly! Suspension, HP, plus you can strip a few things off of it to bring it close to the same weight. You'd have HP and suspension over it for less money. To buy a car with CC brakes and an LS7 just to say you have one for 70k+ is ill minded IMO. Track beast it is. Very impressed with it. The price they'll prolly ask? Not impressed whatsoever. Much cheaper outlets that'll beat it.

I think the price will be as high as said in the OP i hope not but the brakes are over 10K by them self add the the newer rear end gears, 305 on all corners and that LS7 we all want and the new seats, and its a 40K in new parts if not more. so add that to a stock SS and lets see if its not at 75K+ car.

Crazy, especially due to the fact that its 160 hp down from the gt500 (even though its n/a). Chevy has to be careful with this one. You can only spread hype so far....

One reason I would do it is because I don't want a FI engine, I want a big cubic inch engine NA and make good power with it. Plus having the Z/28 would be awesome to me, so I'd be happy buying one for sure

Because, at the track, the Z/28 > ZL1 > GT500. ;-)
