I have to wait to see if I can afford the top dog; if I can, I'm all over it like stink on sheet. I'll be happy to wait a few more years to see how the car pans out and if there are any idiocyncracies that pop up. I'm happy to wait for some muscle though

Well, since it is no longer going to be a 2009 model year, I am in no hurry to buy one. I can no longer have a 40th year car to my '69 z/28, so I will buying a convert that has the biggest V8 possible. In matching attire of course.

Wow, I didn't know there were this many guys in my same situation...I'm graduating in '09, and plan on having a decent paying job, will be getting married...(shhh don't tell her, she doesn't know yet ), however, I don't have a car to pay off. My goal was to get the Camaro the first year. I'm not sure how much longer my Camaro has. I take good care of it, but it is 14 years old. We'll see...I just don't want to see a limited production run the first year like what's happening with the Challenger. Since GM wants to sell so many, I doubt this will be an issue, but I want to order my Camaro from the factory...just the way I want it...Black/Black, V8 (400+ hp, please), 6-speed

It's loud, slow as all get out, but loud
No more money going into this one...everything's being saved for my 5th Gen.

I will also be waiting to see what my options are, save up more money, and actually decide what I want.

I waiting to see if in the second year they produce a 500+ beast, but if not it wouldn't hurt to customize a the first 5th gen. Hopefully they announce or leak this out before June of 09, the time ill make my decision.

It's not arriving UK side until 2010 earliest - and I have no idea what we'll be getting (so far it's reported to be RHD, but who knows) so I'll have to wait regardless.

I want to be the first on my black with one so I'm going to jump right in and trust the GM engineers to get things right. Hell they'll have been testing this thing long enough by the time the car is available

Now, I just hope that the pricing cooperates with my plans
