Has anyone installed an aftermarket exhaust on a L99 with ground effects? The dealer told me that there is a GM service bulletin that says that the GM Exhaust upgrade is not compatible with the Ground Effects.

Thanks in advance

Probably just due to the tips sticking out to far for the ground effects. I'm sure you could keep the old tips and have them sit in the same stock position. The Corsa tips definitely wouldn't work with ground effects and the GMPP version sticks out a bit too.

Maybe someone will chime in who has actually done it...

I'm on pain meds so forgive me if I missed it. Did you get the sport or touring version? I'm leaning toward the touring version when I get a cam, headers, and CAI installed.
Being an old fart, I like it mellow unless I really put my foot into it.
