We were surprised it was still out there as well. It is number 1216. I was concerned that we would not get the ZL1 specific certificate from GM since it was a 2012 model but sure enough it showed up after about three weeks.

Thanks for all of the comments. Yep, we did make quite a leap from our original plans and the dealership sure didn't mind that either.

I can't keep from smiling every time I drive it. What an awesome car.

I had the exact same thing happen to me. Walked in said Hi, I want a Black on Black 2SS. 30min later after test driving an auto 2SS. I said I'd like to drive a stick as well and well the only one they had was a ZL1....

I left with the ZL1. Couldn't be happier!
