Yea that vette was a beast!! Every time I was at lethal though I was eyeing nicks SS (black10) my vette was sweet, and it "felt" like a muscle car, but it lacked the "look" to me. :( problem solved I guess! I loved driving my ex's 2lt, it lacked the "soul" though!

ZL1 for two reasons
1.) the "look" is a little too "new school" for me. It's a sick car but too much body kit for a muscle car. I'd do a big cowl hood on mine before vents!

2.) and this is the BIG one! The same reason I chose a base vette over a ZR1... I HATE roots blowers! :( ill take a centri, turbo, TT over roots ANY DAY! It's the way they deliver power to me! I like it to hit hard up top, I like a loud bov, I like meth, and what not!

To be honest I drove the ZL1 and the GT500 (friends with 700whp+) and FLAME SUIT ON I was unimpressed!:( I liked the body better on the gt500, it was a little more retro to me. But I didn't like the roots blower on either. :(

I liked the 1le, but not the two tone look with the hood. I'm not 100% sure but do they even come in leather??? besides there is nothing in a 1le I can't do better for cheaper. Cars to me is about making them yours! I get a 2SS cuz I wanted leather and the mylink. The rest ill do myself!

Lol "f you" for being right! Just playing Shawn! Once my headers are here ill put them in then ill come out for the cam and "magic tune". When I get back from Cali this year were either doing another ECS/meth build or the pfadt headers are coming off and were doing a lethal TT build! Get that steak dinner ready and ill see you guys soon! Tell mike I have plenty if new pics!! Lmao!!

But American muscle, Camaros, Vettes and Vipers? Hell yes, bring it!!!
'Gotta agree with you on that one. While I haven't driven one, I have ridden in one. While I could tell it was fast, it didn't "feel" like it was; almost like it was "too" refined.

BTW, I love my Maggie and and all that instant torque she gives me--not many open roads in my area to wait for that extra power from centrifugals or turbos to spool up. To each his own, as they say!

Make sure you start a build thread when the modding begins

Mine at 600whp felt fast, but my almost full open exhaust wasn't very loud even at wot, my only muffler was in back. The rest was wide open. It sounded great, but had NOTHING on my vette! Ill post some videos when I get home! the other thing was the twin clutch. The car never rocked between shifts. While that is faster it kinda numbed the seance of speed. I guess all the things it did BETTER were less fun? Lol I know how stupid that must sound!! Lol

As for boost, yea each his own! I've owned NA, single turbo, TT, and centri cars! I've driven plenty of roots tho. It's just not for me. And the don't like meth. The TT is BY FAR the best feel to me, but I love the sound of a V8 with 1 7/8 open headers no cats and a big cam! not sure I can part with that sound yet? Nick has proven that the ECS kit is good over 800 so who knows? I feel "power and fun to drive" a TTSS would win!

Will do man! I already started the little stuff! Ill make a build thread when I get the wheels finished. And ill update after the bolt ons are finished this week and I get the cam/lethal tune done. I'm guessing with the CAI, scoop, ported tbody, pfadt 1 7/8 headers w/no cats, npp exhaust, night fury cam, and Shawn's magic we see "close" to 500whp.

That doesn't sound stupid at all. In fact, that's what I was referring to in my experience riding in a GTR--too smooth and deceptive for my taste. I want to feel an edgyness (is that a real word? LOL), like you.

Lol yea well let that fly! When people used to ask what it was like to drive my vette I used to joke and say "you remember in the cartoons when the Whyle coyote would straddle a big red rocket wearing roller skates till the road runner ran by? Well the vette is right after he lit the wick! Face forward, and hold on!" It was like driving a controlled explosion!! The GTR was more like a building being demoed down to sympany music.. Impressive yet predictable!
