You won't towel dry it ,but you wax it after every time you wash it. That would be harder on the paint then using a good microfiber to dry it. It's also a huge waste of product and time. There is a fine line between anal and crazy. I think you may have crossed it. Time to see a head doctor maybe. Lol

When she does wash the car under the hood gets detailed, door jams, of course wheels & she reaches inside the wheels too, mits the wheel wells and the tires (thread portion too) then dries everything. She uses the 2 bucket 2 mit method and when done gives the car a once over with Adams detail spray.
I could only wish, you are one lucky man! With 2 wonderful grand kids my wife's car takes a beating & she couldn't care less!

You are all nuts

Seriously

You should all be committed, it's metal and plastic and rubber and such. Come on get real. It's not like it has beautiful curves like a gorgeous woman. It's not like it can feel what's going on, again like a gorgeous woman. It's not like it can make you feel good, again like a gorgeous woman Can you sense a trend here.

It's a car.

So I enjoy my car, it's filthy at times, but I do run it through a car wash with those big ugly brushes once in a long while.

Actually, I lied it looks perfect all the time. They just paved my street with that tar stuff and I left in the garage till that garbage hardened. Even now I clean the bits off the tires everytime she comes in the garage. I passed a kids charity car wash the other day, and hated to turn them down so I stopped the car, apologized as graciously as I could and gave them a donation. They didn't touch my car of course.

It does get washed if it happens to get caught in rain. If it's late it gets detailed the next day. Nothing is left dirty or unprotected, interior, wheels, tires. Always reading the forums on the best way to keep it clean and protected.

My wife thinks I'm nuts but understands ------ AGAIN.

When we married I had a black Ram Air IV GTO. I was a freak then too. She had forgotten the insanity through the middle years raising kids and such ,while driving, well lets say cars with four wheels.

I get so many compliments as I'm sure you all do. Just this morning, I got this one from an older guy walking a dog. "That's a 'Wow' Camaro". He actually knew something about cars.

So, except for the gorgeous woman, my wife, oh and yes my kids. The Camaro is number 1

Sorry, just couldn't resist putting up a picture ---- of my car

Fun thread; now go out and clean your car.

Yes it has. It touched rain, possibly even snow, when it was bayed at Oshawa.

As others have said, first off your car isn't a vert so maybe you need to figure out what you really have. Secondly, it is a car - a common car. It isn't some one off rare exotic that is priceless and increasing in value.

Either drive it or sell it
