I think the green is awesome, BTW, but what did you mean you have a V-6 Turbo-charged Camaro? If you put a turbo charger in, you could have afforded an M6 SS LS3, especially after your awesome paint job. Probably cost a fortune. I'm happy for you though man! Good luck with your car! Definitely unique! BTW, why did you add all the cathode lighting under the car and inside the grill? Hope you don't drive with all of that turned on.

the turbo is kinda typo'ed.its going to be turbo'd and the pait could have been cheaper..for vinyl i could have had it done for 800 for painted 1600 but i went for seamless, which when you pull your hand over the paint you dont feel a raise from the stripes like it was factory painted like that..cost 2500. but i want a V6 I mean V8s are bad ass but the V6 is personal to me..my first car was a V6 camaro.so i wanted the V6, i could have bought an 8 if i wanted but like i said its sentimental.but im supercharging it so i can get it blowing the doors off of stock V8s..thanks for the compliments though..btw the lights were just goofing around..always wanted lights under my car since it was a big deal when i was 16. so 11 years later i put them on this car.LOL. I just turn them on for my 2yr old daughter at night, or during social events at night ill turn em on..lol

Hahahaha! Kickass man! Hey, as long as you are happy man, that is all that matters in the end. I'm with ya. Been waiting 11 years myself to finally get the sports/muscle car I always wanted. I could have gotten a Vette (barely), but I've had a Gen 4 Camaro and always wondered what it would have been like to have a Camaro fully loaded with a manual 6 and V8 engine. Tell ya, it was a long wait but the payoff was worth it. The body shop wants to charge me $2700 for the ground effects painted the same as my IOM and that includes full body black rally striping. That green is cool as hell though. I know I sound like a broken record, but it truly is awesome, and more importantly...it is personalized for you. If I can ever get my GFX in, I'd definitely like to share the after pictures with the site. Good luck with your car man!

Hey Dkknightx,

Yes, I do work for a Chevrolet dealer, and the information comes from the regional trainers who pulled up insider e-mails on their laptops and showed them to me. I am friends with one of the guys outside of work, and he throws me a bone every now and then and sometimes I post relevant information here for you guys. It's no BS, believe you me. What the e-mail said was "ALL backordered LPO GFX should begin shipping as early as this week to distirbution centers nationwide" which means you dealer should start getting them in as early as next week.

To everyone else, thanks for backing me up, but I don't think I was really being attacked. I think a lot of people are just really excited about their Camaros and just want them to be perfect. I for one would be a little wound up if I paid $2,200 for something and had to wait a month for it to get here.

Dude, THANKS!! Nah, I can come off as stand-offish, but I certainly wasn't attacking you. I've seen you around the site but never talked with you and didn't know much about who you were and why your sources were accurate. A lot of rumors going around and when it is about things people here care about, we kind of take it a little too far. You didn't have to explain yourself, but I am extremely grateful and thankful you did. Again, thank you kindly for all of your information!!

Hey I was just wondering. I ordered a ground effects with my car and got my car a month ago. I'm not sure I like the kit and so now I may sell it. I have the red jewel tint 2SS just like yours. No RS and that sucks balls that I didn't order that too Could you or anyone tell me if you think that only having the front lip put on would look good? I really like the kit but I hate the squared off exhaust ports. Any opinions would be great.

You can install the entire GFX now and when the rear diffuser becomes available after-market, it won't be too hard to remove and replace.

it looks good with just the front tip..and looks good with everything else but the front. ive seen them..the front "lip" is really only visable from the very front..so with a stock rear you wont be able to see them both at the same time..so go for it..if you like it leave it..if you dont take it off..but it is a pain in the ass to put them on yourself..anyway..you guys are paying that much (2200) for you gfx???the ones with the square exhaust ports like mine??or is there something else out that i dont know about..guys i got mine for 1300 from www.pfyc.com and it came in a week later, and that was only cause of the shipping..just wondering why everyone is having problems getting them and paying that much.you guys ordering them from the car dealers???is that why its so much???

dude thats a BS price to paint those GFX. i bought my effects separate for 1300 and have them painted exactly to match my car even the orange peel look, which is rediculously stupid paint, for 500 dollars..it only cost 1800 altogether. and i didnt even get a deal or anything like that.

My Car came in about a month ago and my GFX showed up yesterday. Sounds like they are fulfilling their promise and filling orders now.

This car is in my area and I have seen it up close. It looks good if you want that boy racer look. I am not saying its bad it's just not my style.
I payed the 2200 for the gfx that includes paint an installation and my engine cover painted. The gfx should be here friday.

You know, I paid $2200.00 for the ground effects and now I have to pay $2700.00 (before tax) to have them painted and have the custom rally stripes painted from end to end. I STILL can't get them installed/painted when I want them done. It isn't so much the money, although it hurts, but it is the total lack of communication he had with the autobody guy. They got my ass up to the dealership, burning fuel, assuming I was droppping my car off and because the auto body guy's parking lot was full, they told me to come back August 1st. WTF is that crap?! You mean my salesman couldn't have called the autobody guy first on Monday to let me know when I could actually bring my car back? I installed the satin nickel heritage door myself and left my painted fuel door at home. They wanted me to bring it back so they can paint match. Are they new?! I'm starting to reconsider this but because my salesman IMMEDIATELY took my credit card for full pre-payment, I think I'm screwed. As I was telling Hylton, I feel like I'm being bent over a barrel and get sick to my stomach whenever I get within 10 feet of my car. I may have paid MSRP for my car, but it feels like I paid $15K over sticker for all the hassles, miscommunication and wastes of time, energy, and gas. I almost lost two jobs yesterday because of this . How horrible is that?! Talk about rapeage.
