Actually no attempt at a joke. I like humor too but, I was serious.: I read the thread again and followed what your saying all the way through. :facepalm I kinda skipped the first time and saw lightspeed and key and it because Lightspeed Key on the Corvette. I was thinking some kind of remote key fob thing so you wouldn't have to actually put your key in the inigtion to start.
I think Merc or Acura has that. Not sure now. Anyway, I was 'OOooooo' throw that in with my push start button and now the ride is one step closer to Darth Vader's final temptation to 'Come to the Darkside'.

Probably will get flamed a bit for this, but possibly a gauge pack for the dash. Honeslty i love how the tach and speedo look, but they don't look very functional. A few members on here are saying they find it hard to head the speed, so they just use the digital readout.

If a vendor could come up with a different style, that's a little more functional, but retains some of the original character i would totally buy it.

The new CTS-V has 'Keyless Go.' It isn't quite as slick as what Mercedes, BMW and even Toyota have out with a 'Push Start.' It has a mock key that you turn when you get in the car. This is definitely another oversight from GM. :/

GM certainly has the technology, my STS Caddy has a smart key, its been an option for 2 yesrs. I CERTINLY WISH MY CAMARO HAD ONE!!
