FYI
I have found a local raceshop (PORT PERRY, ONT.), through one of my corvette pals, who sells the retractable licence plate holder. My friend has the electronic one on is C5 Vette. I have made an inquiry about the manual one, and I'm just waiting back on a price. He did quote me for the electronic one (including installation) to be $325, it may sound steep, but when you factor in buying from the U.S. and all the fees & conversion of money, the choice is yours.
