Gm always offered high output options for cars that were obviously going to be pressurized & run hard. How come they are not continuing with that wisdom? They may have to upspeck certain high wear items if they plan to continue with this car.

What worries me is that I've got 18934 which was built after the ones that are having the problems but before they decided to hold production. They did hold my car in QC so maybe they inspected it and it's all good to go? Fingers crossed.... I'm sure they'll get it all pinned down and let us know the deal soon.

That was last week. Although they might have the line go back on vacation while all this is figured out by the engineers heh (being somewhat sarcastic).

1rst the loss of V8 auto power, now broken V8 M6s..seems like no win choices(@ this moment)..any V6 issues we should know of?

I've launched mine hard more than a dozen times at the track, used competitive mode more than a few times as well...she's holding up...well, as of this morning when I drove her to work *knock on wood now...knock, knock*...

My VIN is 3411 so an earlier production car...It'll be interesting to see what comes of this and whether or not they replace all M6s or only those they feel are bad?

Hate that this happened but it would be nice to get an upgraded tranny for free!
