For some reason people dog the 90's vettes. If there was no 90's ZR1, there would be no 2008 ZR1.

Furthermore, the 90's vettes dominated (and still do today) auto cross circuits.
And the ZR1 broke the 24 hour top speed record for a production car, and the LT1 was right behind it the entire way.

i agree the rs lights arent really any different, but I have a black car maybe thats why i dont notice it. I agreed the rear end did look a little like the corvette or does, the thing I didnt like before i got mine, but now I like. In my opinion the design is great and love it, but if they had a rear end that was more camaroish I would probably dig that a little more. But to me for a stock production car, they didnt leave anything out. Granted theres a few minor wishes from people here and there, but aftermarket can cure that.

Corvette has maintained the 4 tail lights since the C2. Do they still make corvair or chevelles? No.

4 tail lights is a corvette staple.

my 2 cents: I consider myself a decent camaroaholic and the lights look like nothing in the DNA of all other prior Camaros....I did not like them on the first concept and still don't like them now....at all ,even if they were LED

Boy you really see how much more sculpted this new body shape is compared to the original car when you look at that back end shot of the 67.

And seeing the back of the concept next to the production you realize how close they were able to get to the concept, although I still would have liked the concept's slightly wider tail lights.

Still a beautiful car all the way around and going to go down as a classic in American car styling.

Not sure why the tail lights must always look like older versions. I wonder if the guys who had the '70 Camaros freaked out because the tail lights looked nothing like the '69 tails. As long as it looks good and the car looks bad ass from the back (it does).
