There are both types out there, the right look and like you said the Cartoon look. There are also Model kits out there and RC Cars, those are available in larger than 1:18 scale.

Kevin used to work in the licensing department at Indianapolis Motor Speedway and would work with companies like Johnny Lightning when they were producing pace car diecasts until he started Greenlight. Unfortunately IMS has recently awarded Mattel/Hotwheels exclusive rights for any diecast models/toys and Greenlight had to remove the "Pace Car Garage" section from their website and can no longer do any pace car or IRL racing die-casts.

As for the 2009 Camaro Indy 500 pace car diecasts which in all likelyhood will be done by Mattel/HotWheels (unless of couse they allow someone else to do some), latest word is it won't be until around December before they are available. Still don't know what scale, but so far the only scale Mattel has been allowed to do is 1/64th.

I am glad to see i am not the only greenlight collector out, they are far and the best there is. I am a huge 1/64 collector and have tons of there cars (including 2 more of the production Challenger Solid packs on the way). They definatly have some sweet models coming (Camaro and others ) IMHO, watch for them, no one will be disapointed. One thing I hate about Jadas is that they are not accurate 1/64 replicas, they are almost always WAY too large.

The ones I see for sale are the "dub city", crap ones.

I'd like to get one that's accurate, kinda like the one for my Vette. I try to get diecasts of every vehicle I buy.

Anyone know what's going on?

This is the closest one I could find

And here's the closest Black one I could find,

Has anyone had any luck with a search for Bumblebee key chain. My daughter had one after the first movie came out but broke it. Haven't been able to find one again.

Was it custom made? Cuz you could make one yourself w/ a HW car..

I would like to see GMP make Camaro SS diecasts in 1/18. I'm sure they will come.

I have the 3 concepts from Jada, the silver, orange vert and bumblebee. They're not terrible but lack a lot of detail and features. The front wheels don't even turn.
