Grats on the Gt500. Looks like a 08/09 ?

Most do not understand you can get the model now from the mid~high 30k range. I saw one on the lot I bought my GT from, White w/blue stripes, Chrome 20's shelby razors, 14inch Brembos Slotted/drilled rotors, Steeda suspension pqackage, Steeda Catback, and probably a upgraded S/C as well..(did not have the key so I could not pop the trunk), at any rate the car had 7k miles, a warranty still, and was for 39k. Now the ford rebates applied to this car as well. I am sure it could have been talked down to the low 30's.

Point is you bought a GT500 with forged internals, 6spd box, upgraded clutch, 8.8 Rear live Axle all stock, plus what the prev owner did.

The good deals are out there.

this thread kills me. first the car is a 2010, it is 2009. second, with the number of orders they have had, i find it understandable for there to be a long waiting time, i ordered 4/25 and im number 4 on the list at me dealer now, i started at 17.

like has been said...do you want a new car? or a new camaro?

They have already made more Camaros that the 3 year production run of the Shelby.
I would have had a Camaro if GM did not have a mess up the ordering system. Driving the Shelby everyday puts a smile on my face. I would not trade that for anything.

How much did that 09 GT500 run you? How many miles did it have on it when you bought it?

I paid about $40k for my 2009. It had 1800 miles on it. The car is fully loaded(Nav., HID lights, interior upgrade). The last owner put Corsa exhaust on it. It sounds great. They gave me $3000 more in my trade that I would have gotten from the Chevy dealer. So I paid about $3500 more that I would have a Camaro. I did add the red stripe along the bottom. They only made 11 white coupes with deleted stripes for 2009. They made 55 total for the 2007-2009 production run.

Thats a damn good deal bro

I am happy with my purchase of a 1SS/RS, but I could easily see myself getting a GT500 if they camaro wasn't around. I would prefer a corvette of course, but since I have a 17 month old son that whole 2 seater thing wouldn't work Do you have some more pics?

No, I'm waiting patiently. The Camaro is the best vehicle on the market right now.

This is WAY better idea than a 370z

With just a tune you can be knocking on the doors of a 12 second pass and still get 30mpg with the LNF.

Add a catless downpipe, an intercooler and charge piping and you will have a little roadster that will be able to trap 110-115 depending on how aggressive the tune is.

370z...pfft.

Was on my way to Towers(local car gathering/show) last night and stop at a BOA. Guy had a new black 370z. While we were checking out each other cars, I ask him about it. Friendly guy, let me sit in it and everything. Have to say I was impress interior wise. At 6'4 I sat in it comfortably. Gauges were easy to see and read. Was a lot wider than the old 350. Sharper looks as well.

He told me he was getting a CIA, Tune, and Headers/exhaust. Would put him at 405RWHP. As light as that car is......that is a nice combo. He showed me his slip @ the track 13.3...stock. He thinks with the new stuff he will get into the 12's.

Do not sleep on that 370.

ROFL!
So 105whp from a cold air, tune and a full exhaust.

That's flux capacitor shit right there buddy rofl

Solstice is a cheaper car, more bang for the buck, and you could make a reliable 340whp and 360wtq with bolt ons and a tune and run low 12s forever.

For THOUSANDS less than the flux capacitor Z.

405whp

Jesus lmao that is good.
