For those of you that watch the auction every year, Ron Pratt is the only one that can keep up with Hendrick. Hes the one that typically buys all the number 1 Shelbys. I doubt he will go for the Z, but with how special the car is, it could happen. He also bids on charity cars, and if no one is bidding against him, he ups his own bid, and then gives the car back to be bid on again. He has a huge heart.

Now IF the #1 car you refer to is one of the CTF, THEN They could still hold the auction for the 1st production Z/28 and still let the winning bidder chose the color, etc like they mentioned long ago.

Based on insider comments that the final spec is still being tuned I'd say you are spot on with CTF comment.

Besides, Texas based posters have a pretty dismal track record in regards to making Z/28 production claims.

Rick was interviewed at 4:15 today on B-J. When asked what he would be bidding on, he mentions that he's looking at the new Z/28. Very very casually.

There are two COPO's being auctioned off, lots 1365 and lot 5003.
1365 is a 2013 COPO, #1 of 69
5003 is a 2013 CHEVROLET CAMARO CRC COPO 1 of 20??

I don't see the Z/28 listed at all on Barrett's web site for the Scotsdale auction????
