Both my Camaros sit for almost 7months every year and both start, they do sit in a heated space and not on tenders. I do believe a tender is a very good ideal! After the 3rd year on a new battery the 2002 SS has a slow start but starts.

Both Goats and the Camaro stored over the winter. Always started easy as pie. Stock batteries.
