Despite the quality, that sounds good. I had a 3" Single Chamber on my '95 with SLP shorties and that sounded pretty good. This sounds better though - and that's before headers! Yikes.

Good job

Did you ever think to try to put your Flow Single Chamber more in the back? Would have make an even deeper sound because it would have more time to bounces around because it leaves the back?

I wouldnt say the quality is bad. sure, it might not be the best looking system but no matter what your toilet is made out of and how pretty it is, your still gonna shit in it, right?

The guy fabbing the kit said it they wouldn't fit back there and that it didnt really matter anyway.

This may be a dumb question (insert foot to mouth) but what difference would having a x-pipe in this system make? Would it flow better or worse?

Sound wise very little, but connecting the left and right sides helps with flow and scavenging from the cylinders, therefore if done it should make a small power difference.

Dont know much about x/h pipes but the guy doing the exhaust has 25+ years experience and said that they don't do much.

Mean and Loud!

It sounds MEAN now. Loud and MEAN. Downshifting causes awesome pops, sounds like an mg42.

Headers and cam going in soon. Will have sound clips up soon as well. Definitely not a system for the faint of heart but I love the looks of people in cars near me when I floor it.

Best part? Cost me all of $400 installed.

Mike

edit: pics/vid below

I tried it with my shitty pic cam, didnt work too good. Ill get a real camera tomorrow.

Still pics coming soon - heres the crappy vid -

That's exactly the sound I want on my 2ss/M6. I like the popping and deep grumble and dont want to spend a fortune getting it. Did you use 2 flowmasters (one for each exhaust pipe)? Or just the one and a straight pipe on the other pipe? (Forgive me for my naivete, I just want to get the right thing and not worry that I screwed it up.)

What do you - or anyone out there - think about Glass Packs?
Thanks, Karen
