I guess there's a good chance my Camaro (20270) is in QC as well, as it should have been at the dealer a few weeks ago. Would anyone be able to let me know?

That's ok though really, I have such a busy summer. I didn't expect the car until the end of sept or mid oct.

Supermans there is that thread where they were trying to collect the VINS of the cars with broken M6's if that helps.

i think the phone call thing is a nice touch......but really, why not a list of vins ...this way if your car is in that range and you dont get a call...you handle it and check it out with your dealer.
Things do get missed.

If your that worried about if you have a troubled one or not just drop the hammer on it a few times if it holds up no worries. If it breaks ,well then I guess you got your answer.

That is not an option. I don't want to cause any more damage to my brand new car when all that is needed is a replacement part if it is affected...

Also, please keep the thread on topic.. thanks..

I had not seen this thread before that was started on July 14th and ended posting July 16th. I know there have been quite a few more that have occurred but this thread got lost because it wasn't stickied and not enough people saw it again. There is no thread which has all of the vins however GM has all that info as they know exactly how many were affected by now. It is just the unknowns like mine and others who just picked up the car a few weeks ago and are still breaking in out cars that may end up in the same situation.

While I would hope they know by now what VINs are affected, it's possible that they don't. I hope we hear something (even if it's "We're still trying to figure out what ones are affected") soon.

I know it's exciting to have one of the first new models on the block...but sometimes waiting a bit longer (for the 2nd model year) until they work out the bugs is wiser and less stressful on the owner.
