There are very good deals to be had on new 13 ZL1's. That appears to be one of them.

I'd also like to find out how mod friendly my dealership is
Great idea. Test drive and see how you like it.

Maybe there was something wrong with the driver? like due to so many speeding tickets he is selling his car because the only thing he can legally drive on the street is a bicycle!! haha!

My next Camaro is going to be supercharged!

Your '13 BRM 1LE is a 1 of a total of 90 BRM's made both 1SS and 2SS.

There were a whole lot more BLK ZL1's

My $.02 is that I would keep the 1LE.... Yours is my favorite color combo, so I'm a bit biased though.

Sounds like an amazing deal! However the warranty is a must have for me..which I'm sure is void at this point on that monster! Beautiful car either way!

After your Test Drive of the ZL1, post some of the numbers for us. Like to know what they offer on your trade-in. Don't like the numbers, walk out, and throw a one last chance number at them as you reach the door. Always best to take your time, go home think it over, you're not in any hurry so time is on your side. Oh, one last thing; Always Lowball them and have a set number that's a deal breaker.

I too am curious once you start to negotiate, how they deal with you, both on trade in and the price of the car. As someone stated earlier, sometimes advertised price has some incentives that most will not qualify for.

Ya I'll definitely keep you all posted! I'll most likely make it there tomorrow, off all day and it's supposed to be in the mid 40s so should be a good day for it. As far as rebates and such I'm not sure I've seen too many used cars with rebates like new cars have and I'm sure that if they want the car sold they'll do what they can to sell it. If not then it's not meant to be. Absolute worst case scenario-I get to test drive a 580hp monster and still go home with an awesome car

I'd trade the 1LE in. If you test drive the ZL1 you won't look back. Plus Certified vehicles have better warranties than buying a new vehicle.

If the finance's are there nothing wrong trading up to a ZL1 if that's what you want. Imo i wouldn't buy a ZL1 with some high miles on in in the color i don't want just to get one. After the honeymoon period is over you will be kicking your ass for not getting the want you really wanted. Take your time travel some distance if you have to and buy a low mileage ZL1 with the color and features that are important to you. Personally i would travel half way across North America to get the ZL1 i like as this is a special niche kind of vehicle. As a 43 year old who has bought many cars i can tell you from my experience's compromising sucks and end up costing you more in the end. Just my 2 cents.

Carfax is only good if it is reported to insurance. I bought a 09' Cobalt for my daughter and the Carfax was clean. Then about a year ago we had to fix some damage that she did and found out that the same fender had been replaced. The GM chicklet was even in the wrong place and there were clips left off the underside. Just saying you can't always trust a Carfax report. But to the OP atleast you don't have to pay for the gas guzzler tax. $46,000 is a good price and maybe you could get them to come down a little too. Go test drive it and look at it very good. Especially check the fender bolts to see if they had been removed in the past. Good luck.
