I just want to see what a L99 with a tune , exhaust did with 1 3/4 and compare the 1 7/8 and go from there.

we have seen 41 hp from the ls3 now lets see the l99's numbers with this stuff done to it.

ARH says we use 1 7/8 on the manual ls3 and got this.....then what do you use for an automatic L99? the same as the LS3 they say.

well from what I have heard in the past a car that isnt heavily modded needs a 1 3/4 but if you are one who is going with forced induction and cams and etc then you need to jump to the 1 7/8 for the future.
Awesome. I guess you made the right choice. lol

Jekyll, The quality will meet or exceed your expectations. All ARH systems are built that way and we stand behind it 100%. Our testing was done almost a year ago at the Vette Doctors. It was on an automatic. There was no contest. With an ARH system the 1-7/8" headers were better everywhere. Keep in mind, we're capable of building anything we want and we do it everyday. We conducted this testing early on because we want to sell what works best. I even shared my findings with Jannetty prior to his testing.
Here's some more food for thought. We conducted the same test on the new 2011 5.0L GT and once more 1-7/8" headers prevailed. It goes against conventional wisdom as this was on a considerably smaller motor. My explanation, these engine are far from conventional.

I could not be any happier than how how I am right now with my 1 7/8 American Racing headers , Xpipe and highflow cats I even called back and ordered a set of your offroad connection pipes to install in place of the Cats WOW mean as hell sounding.

100% Quality all the way around I love ARH and the Power they have given me

What about the 2" x 3" ARH system? I have that on my L99.

McDoogle, That's a great question. Many have purchased the 2" primary system and it's working for them. Considering how much power we've seen through 2" primaries (over 800 flywheel NA) it's amazing how well it works on a stock L99. I believe what helps the 2" primary produce good gains is the balance of the system which includes the X-pipe. The merge collectors are definitely helping build mid range power as well.
