You may be the exception to the rule but most 18 year olds aren't in the financial position to buy a $30k car on their own. Do you still live at home? Do they help pay for school? Even though you may pay your car note and/or insurance, I am willing to bet they have helped you to be able to afford your car in some way!

My parents pay for mine. Idk why some people won't admit it. I have it as long as my grades are up, but if I slack off it's gone

Most parents work hard and bust their butts so that they can provide their children with a better life. There's nothing wrong if their definition of "a better life" involves buying them a nice car or alleviating other expenses so that they can afford one.

Was 22 when I got mine, im 24 now. financing of course. no sponsor here but the bank at the expense of some interest rate. I had to give away some amenities to pay for her...like less holidays and more work hours...totally worth it.
