is there a reason you didn't just get the dual mode exhaust on your new '14? For the $900, done. I love it.

The thing I like about the SW retro catback is it is optioned with quad tips, which all these cars should've come with from the factory. I have a car with the NPP option, but if I didn't, I'd get the SW retro with quad tips and a ZL1 rear diffuser. IMO, it's the best looking, sounds good and based on how it's constructed, I bet it's a lot lighter than most catbacks with packed, box-style mufflers.

I'll never understand how people who spend 40K on a new Camaro will complain about spending another $1500 to make it sound right.

I hear you. Well I've tried to link the good price I got on Amazon. ATAK Catbacks for the 2014. $1,130. So it's not quite as bad. If you get it installed, just add another 200-300.

I'm super happy with my SLP LMII axleback. Has a great sound at throttle and a nice, deep idle. I wouldn't mind if it were a little louder outside, but I don't want it any louder inside. It's perfect for me.

Thanks. I don't know very much and am learning. It just depends all upon the type of sound you want. No matter what you buy, shop around for the best deal. Often you can get no tax and free shipping at discount rates.

im really liking the flowmaster super 10's, i had an exhaust shop give me 2 1/2" tubing from the cats back to the series 10s with 4" chrome tips, looks and sounds great was $500 for everything. they do all the pipe bending and welding.
