Something I was considering - please post the pics

I had/have the same problem when I took my factory spoiler off my '14. Scratches and large chips.

I thought the new spoiler would cover the same areas the factory spoiler did but slightly miss these spots. I thought it was because I bought a replica blade spoiler off ebay for half the cost. At least i know now the GM version wouldn't have covered those areas anyway.

I had a similar issue when I went to test fit my Z/28 spoiler. I'll talk to my Chevy dealer and see what they can do about it.

You guys would die if you see the paint that was rubbed off from the stock spoiler on my 2010; when I took it off to put a ZL1 spoiler on. I masked and painted it with a little rattle can, looks like shit but atleast it isnt a 6" line of primer showing on a black car.

This is also a direct fit

Yea, for the v6 guys. It's a direct bolt on if you have a factory spoiler. It does come with a drilling template if needed. Finish quality was great.

My whole trunk lid has chips in the finish around the tail lights and bumper plus the rub through from the spoiler. I think its because the jambs are too tight and it rubs from the downforce of the spoiler. Same on the other side as well
