I'm heading right down to my Ford dealer...............lol right!!!! SMH

Edit: Post #28, in terms of customer service I'd have to agree with you. Chevrolet has improved quite a bit in the past decade from my previous experience with the brand. Good for Chevy.

It looks like another influx of Ford guys on a Camaro site.

I was a ford tech once, I can tell you plenty of cool stories about their level of service and quality...

Also, if you think ford didn't get bailed out in some fashion, you're crazy...

From what I can discern pricing hasn't been announced yet, right?

I, for one, like it and think Chevy's efforts to call attention to themselves using fuzzy math with stuff like this from their website is a little sad:

"The Ford Mustang was introduced 50 years ago this week, creating an entirely new class of transportation, the pony car," GM said in a statement posted on its Web site. "Chevrolet introduced the Camaro three years later, creating one of the most enduring rivalries in the automotive industry. Chevrolet would like to extend a heartfelt congratulations to the Mustang on its 50th anniversary, and we look forward to another 50 years of rivalry."

In any case, none of us would be passionate about pony cars if not for the Mustang. Whatever your brand preference I think we can probably agree that the Mustang looks a lot better at 50 than most of us will, do or did!

Happy 50th Mustang!

Yes it would, but having seen several "practice" heavy lifts (M1A1 Tank, Buffalo MRAP, and Marine AAVs) I think an experienced pilot and crew could do it. Though I never saw it done 80+ stories up, I'd still bet it could be done.

Seems like an incredibly unnecessary risk to take just because it seems like it could be done.....

It's not a military oriented task, just PR and advertising that could go horribly wrong...

The headlines would be hilarious though..

And a pretty good bet that Chevrolet will do something similar with the 2017 Camaro.

My thoughts exactly. Considering my first car was a "Mustang." If you can call this a Mustang, that is.

The pricing hasn't been announced. Even still, this won't be just a mustang gt painted white. The interior includes aluminum, black leather, and cashmere materials. The exterior gets unique rear quarter panel glass as well as additional chrome trim. This car gets 6 piston 15 " Brembo brakes. This car might approach $50 k. However, I don't think this car is meant to be your typical daily driven mustang gt.

Not sure where you got the price from, as I don't think it has been announced yet.

That said, I'd expect mid 40s or more for this car.

Ford hasn’t announced pricing, but given that the car includes all the GT bells and whistles plus the anniversary kit, we wouldn’t drop our Lucky Strikes if the price closed in on the $50K mark.

Anything Anniversary has never been worth more than other non-anniversary cars unless it has very special unique equipment. If you like the trim buy it. As an investment forget it. It is also a way for dealers to justify ADM.
