I never even thought about the clearance issues with these turbos.. that skid plate does sit pretty low. I wonder how much that would be scraping if you were lowered 1.5"

I would think the easy of the IPF S/C kit in the Cali market would be critical with our damm smog issues.
Being able to remove this kit during a Saturday, pass smog, then reinstall for be a great bonus.

There are no top mount SC setups with a low enough profile to clear the stock hood. If there was, I think it could potentially be a big hit for these V6s. When running a centri, the nature of how it works is that power rises linear with the rpms. Sure you can up the boost to make more power, but as you up the boost, then you run into more issues and most of the power gain will still be on the upper end of the rpm range.

To be honest, though I can't afford it right now, the slow buildup of boost on the centri's makes them more attractive. The TT kits go over the M6 transmission torque rating by a mile, but the Centri kits only barely do. Lots of top end boost mean they essentially have a flat torque curve.

By "No action"? You mean send some dude my car and $7k and hope 4 others do the same and then cross my fingers the HP tune is the answer? Easy for you to say. I know you have to pay to play, but, there other ways to pay and play.(I can pay cash for a ZL1 or C7 today) I'd like it to be my V6,but I'm not desperate. Commitment? they had a planned prototype but no tune. Now supposedly have a tune and they can't get one car for a prototype? Maybe they aren't committed due to lack of LFX kit sales. I have been reading these threads for years, so I may be a bit jaded from the whole RX, etc. debacle

i offered my services to design a kit, i also listed the terms under which i'll do it. seems like there is no interest in it based on the response i got.
