the front lip is the kicker. to get the gaps out you will have to put numerous rivets or self tap screws in it from the back side. GM says you need to remove the front bumper however with a long bit you can do the same thing with the bumper still on. GM also says you only need 4 rivets total. I ended up putting about 10 to get it right. Funny thing about the LS3 on the back. I also debated this and ended up taking it off. i am going to wait on some better badging to come out.

Would this kit fit on an LT version? I know the front ends of the SS and LT are different. But looking at yours I'm now officially sold on the effects kit.
