You know it's it's around 200 punds heavier than the Camaro at most right? 2nd., sit in an R/T or SRT8 interior, it is NOT bad, it is roomy, the materials are as good, if not better, than the Camaro. Also, the only nthings really shared with the 300/Charger in the interior are the actual controls and the steerig wheel, the complete dash, guages, door skins, etc, etc, are all unique to the Challenger. The R/T also is not not that much slower than an SS, people are actually running 13.4s BONE STOCK, estimated hp is closer to 390 at the crank than the advertised 372-376. The R/T does suffer in the handling and braking Dept though, and these are the main things actually driving me towards an SS, though if I could sing the SRT-8, that is what I'd be getting next year. .4 in the 1/4 mile would not drive me away from a car. I am torn between the Camaro and Challenger, but i don't believe either one sets any records for a great interior. My friends G8 GT though, extremely nice interior

Im talking about the way it drives, sorry should have been more specific. You can actually feels like your driving a really heavy car when your driving the challenger, where as the camaro feels pretty nimble for its weight. Yeah i agree that neither car sets any records for interior, but to me i just feel that the Camaros is a notch better. I do really like the challenger though, and i would buy one, but camaros are my thing and the customer service that chrysler has there is no surprise why the company is in the shape its in. Just based on chrysler finanical and the dealers, i will never buy a chrylser product again.

I 100% agree on the dealer, I have an 07 Patriot I got new last year, great little SUV and I love the fulltime 4x4 with locking capability and the 5 speed manual, but the dealership I bought it off of has pissed me off so many times (of course they were one of the ones that got the ax). Took them 6 months to get me a new speaker for the passwenger door (actually think they had it way before then, just didn't bother to call and let me know.) Not to mention the rattly muffler they kept telling me is within spec (and the only real annoyance with the little Jeep). Once i buy my SS or Challenger next year I am buying used, this is the first and last car I am bothering to buy new.

I love the look of the Challenger, both inside and out. Yes, the interior is plain, but it is roomy and comfortable. It works for me big time.

The problem is the way the car drives. I test drove the R/T and it was simply ponderous...no handling capability whatsoever. None. Straightline acceleration was very good, and the Hemi sounded great. Beyond that....very disappointing. The SRT8 was noticably better sprung and much quicker...but too much money for me.

It is a good car for what it is....a big sedan with a big motor.

WHAT WOULD U LIKE ME TO SAY. THAT BOTH CARS ARE EQUAL. THEY ARE NOT I HAVE HAD MY SRT8 FOR A YEAR AND WAITED FOR TESTS AND FEEDBACK ON MODS SO I DID COLD AIR,TUNER, MUFFLERS,TBI SPACER, JUST TO NAME A FEW. WAS TRYING TO RELAY THAT EVEN STOCK SRT8 IS NOT A RT COMPLETE DIFFERENT CARS WHEN UP AGAINST THE CAMARO AND RT CHALLENGER. I AM SORRY IF U THINK I AM RETARDED. I AM NOT BRANDED TO ANY ONE CAR COMPANY I LIKE MUSCLE CARS PERIOD. JUST HAPPEN TO HAVE SOME DODGE PRODUCTS DONT LIKE SOME BASHIN CARS THEY KNOW NOTHIN ABOUT.

look at my sig, do you think im branded to a company? I dont think your retarded (other than leaving your caps lock on) Is just car X with mods will always be faster than car Y. Speed is money, how fast do you want to go? Do the EXACT same mods to your camaro then get back to us.
