Purchase ZL1 sight unseen?

Bought my '14 from a dealer out of state with 68 miles. Never saw it in person, only pics. Had it transported. All is good!

I also bought mine out of state (300 miles) and had it transported by Reliable since their trucks are always on the shows. All was good.

Just make sure to ask about any dealer installed items like mats, cargo net, etc. They almost missed putting in the illuminated foot wells and cup holder.

I drove six hours to buy my SS and I would do it again in a heartbeat. That's the best way to break it in and enjoy the new purchase!

Bought mine online 254 miles on it. Drove to pick it up. Signed papers and went home :-) never seen it in person till they pulled it out of detail bay.

I live in NJ, went to a local dealer and asked them to get me a 2013 2SS M6 convertible with NPP. This was in December of 2013.
I had done a tone of research and had found about 6 of these throughout the whole US with the exact options I wanted (under $50000) and new. The closest was in VA.
There was 250 miles on car. The dealer agreed to go and get it which added another 220 miles. Kinda bothered me a bit, but this car had what I wanted.
Upon purchase I did find a ding and some minor scratches and stains (I'm sure with one clay bar it will all be good) and the dealer removed the ding. I would have rather picked it up myself but my lender would only let me purchase through a dealer in NJ.
I'm glad I got. Do not sweat 75 miles. DO IT!

I drove 4 hours to pick up mine . If has everything you want just go for it . Just look it over real good before you sing the papers . look at the engine . Check the stock headers see if there is any rust on them that will tell you if it spent allot of time out side . Make sure you look under the front and back end . Look for any rust spots . There shouldn't be any if it was keep inside and look at the tires for cracks . If it all look good enjoy .

Drove 140 miles to get mine sight unseen except for pics on ebay and mine had 8400 miles on it had some road rash on the front and by the gills but that is typical with these cars with only 73 miles on it I wouldn't worry about it go for it you won't regret it.

Great advice on the price deal!! We only drove a couple hours to buy a Black 2013 ZL1 that they said they had and was MSRP... when we arrived they wanted 10k over MSRP and wouldn't budge. We bought our Victory red 2013 ZL1 the next day from another dealer without a mark up.

Took my car back to the dealership to show them the mods I had done... Tires, wheels, paint, lowering...etc. He said you know the 2013 red ZL1 that was on the showroom floor when I ordered mine. I actually sold my stock tires and wheels back to them to put on this car to help get some interest in it. He said the first guy that was actually interested in it took it for a test drive and some woman was texting on the freeway and drifted over into the side of this new ZL1 and did $3000.00 worth of damage to it. It was in the shop getting fixed when I was there... buyer be ware!!!

I just bought a new 2013 ZL1 here in Colorado. It had around 200 miles on it but everything is perfect. It was on the lot last year when I picked up my SS. Got it for 50k OTD. I would go for it but make sure you pay low. They need to sell it to make room and you can get a 2014 or 2015 if they want you to pay close to sticker.

I'll trade you chrome 5 spoke wheels for your black ones if you get it
