The mod question is kinda open ended! Some folks are balls to the wall and others do nothing! The car is awesome as it is. As for as products to use, I would go to the factory web-sights, so you can make an informed decision. For me the first thing I did was 1LE emblems, oil change, (added the gold magnetic plug), skip shift, (I cut my knuckle getting the connector loose, didn't make me mad at all), a catch can, and added the separate clutch reservoir. My car is a DD, and I will do every thing I can to protect it!

Great looking car..saw it Sunday.
I like the car and everything, but I would prefer the black rims other the RS silver rims.

what is the gold magnetic plug ? I already know about the skip shift (not sure how much it will effect me so I will have to see how it goes) , what is the catch can for, and why a separate reservoir ?

2 things I was bummed out about when I got mine..these are very small though.

Hendrick Chevrolet just re-built there showroom floor, allowing cars to be driven out. I visioned doing the same thing ever since I was told that, however it was pulled up to the front of the doors after being prepped. Probably better that way b/c I was still getting used to driving a clutch again.

2nd thing I was really hoping Mike Judge would have written a note like he did for some others on the forums and put in glove dep. I checked and saw nothing. Oh well, at least the awesomeness of the car made up for it.

The wait seems like eternity, but once you get it, you will realize how fast time will start moving forward again so enjoy it !

The magnetic gold plug is a replacement oil drain plug, you can see what it collected after 500 miles. The clutch reservoir gives the clutch it's own supply of fluid, it gets dirty the quickest, and the catch can collects stuff that would have been dumped back into the motor. Are these things necessary, some say no. After research, I felt that they were. Go through the forum and check out various posts on these subjects, then go check out the factory web sights and watch some videos. Just my $.02

I'm at 3400, and my TPW is 6/2. So hopefully after this coming week it will be built and it will just be a straight wait period.

I did see some of the people got notes put in their car and I absolutely agree that it would be awesome to find a note in there from the guys that built it, but i'm not holding out hope for that haha. Secondly the lady that I went through to order the car said that she will definitely let me drive it out of the showroom, and I know for a fact that I am going to stall this beast driving it out. Gunna be so nervous and excited all at the same time there is no way I wont stall it hahaha
