I went to all seasons on my last Camaro and I really missed the stick of the Pzeros, all I plan on running from here on out is Pzeros or an equivalant rated tire. performance car needs a good gripping tire IMO

The issue isn't whether or not I can find better tires, the issue is that I only got 16,000 miles out of the OEM tires and now how to spend a grand on replacements. If I had at least been able to get 25,000 miles out of them I wouldn't be so pissed, personally I believe that I should be able to get 36,000 miles at the very least from OEM tires. OEM tires should last as least as long as the warranty, barring road hazards. I think it is very irresponsible of any car manufacturer to put such tires on any vehicle designed for everyday use..

and the alignment is fine thank you, I have lifetime alignment at a local shop have it checked every 6 months. and the car tracks perfectly, I am beyond anal about alignment, I hate it when a car drifts and has to be forced to drive straight. Tires are not over or under inflated, I monitor my tire pressure on the DIC every time I drive the car, I keep them at 32psi per the recommendation on the door, and adjust them when the weather gets hotter or colder. I check the pressure every 3-4 fuel fills manually with a good old fashion tire gauge as well. the tries are not worn on the edges or in the dead center as over inflation or alignment issues would indicate, they are worn evenly across the width of the tire, meaning they are worn out. the front tires are getting bad as well, but I believe I have at least another 4-5k miles before they are completely smooth like the rears..

Interesting comments here. For me I've got plenty of thread on the fronts & I'm sure at least another 5,000 miles on the rears. I've got 21,100 so far on my 2012 Convertible. Yes it is 36psi for the tires. When I need new tires I'm hoping I can find a good tire but not $500.00 per tire as I saw on Tire Rack. Michael in South Boston, VA

Ouch! Mine lasted 50,000 miles and I had the stock PZeros All Seasons tires though.

Are we really complaining about how long the tires on a performance car last? How the gas mileage? Insurance? Good in the snow? Nice and quiet? Lots of storage and legroom in the back?

actually the sticker on the inside of my door jam says for my tires it is 32psi cold,
![]() 32psi cold is 36-37 psi under normal driving temps.. 36psi cold would put the tires above 40psi under normal driving, which would result in over inflated wear patterns..

mix.. 3-4 miles city, 19 miles highway for x2 (there and back) for my daily commute.
don't typically drive the car on weekends.. if I do it is 90% highway, but typically weekends require the family car or truck for outings, the Camaro is basically my daily driver for work commuting.

Weird ...
Just throwing out my experience I had got about 25k out of my Pzeros. Doing burnouts and other types of racing including a trip to the drag strip. Mostly city and aggressive driving around curves and such. ::: this was with the rears @ it's last bit of leg with wear bars showing. Fronts had maybe another 3k-5k.:::
