It's my favorite vehicle to drive to and from the Chiropractor! I don't mess up the adjustments like getting up in the truck.

Love the seats
I just drove four hours this morning, very comfortable. You mentioned getting in and out. I do find that I have to consciously lift my left leg higher than normal to keep from scuffing the door sill. I could see where one could wrench their back if they didn't make this movement slowly and deliberately.

Farthest I've driven was 5 hours straight and it was not a problem, very comfortable. I did have back pain during 2012 and 2013 when I was mainly a machine operator. This year I started back doing heavy labor along side machine operating and strangely my back has gotten better to where I don't have pain anymore. It was so bad the last couple years my back would hurt just standing and doing dishes! I couldn't sleep on my right side without waking up in pain. But after doing intense labor all this year, the pain is all gone.
Now I believe my problem was for a couple years I had the lazy job at work on a machine and was losing too much back muscle because right now I'm in some of the best shape of my life and the back pain is gone! Anyhow, I love the Camaro seats! I was shocked on my very first test drive how comfortable the Camaro was! My bosses 2006 Mustang seats... OMG they're so hard they feel like you're sitting on bags of concrete mix! My 2004 Ford Lightning has pretty comfortable seats too (the Camaro is better though). |

I had my 1st back surgery in 1983 and a 2nd in 1992. When I was finally able to buy my Camaro I spent a day at a car show finding something that I could be comfortable with. For sporty cars the Camaro was tied with the corvette for me and was much more comfortable than many other cars like mustang, cts v, Porsche etc.
I have had a few 400 to 500 mile days and get tight but not painful. If lower back pain is the issue, try some good stretching exercises focused on legs and specifically hamstrings. Tight leg muscles are a big contributor to lower back pain. |

After a couple 17 hour trips to PA from AR, I can safely say my Camaro is quite comfortable.Bear in mind that I am 58 years old with knee & back problems. As was said by others, the hard part is entry & exit.

I'm 53, laid up 3 year with back problems when I was in my late 20's and I'm able to maneuver and ride in this Camaro with no problem. I just adjust the seats accordingly and I'm golden...

Nope, no back pain, because my wallet is much lighter every month after the car payment.

I know if I don't remove my wallet for long drives my back will bother me. Never happened in any other vehicle.

My back aches because I work more overtime to pay for my mods.
I left S.Florida going to Ohio on Tuesday(7-1-14) which is a 16 to 17 hour ride.I have 4 bad disk in my back and had an uneventful ride as far as pain. I do find that if I remove my wallet for long trips the journey is more enjoyable.
