The $3000 addition is not only for the interior options. Thats for the entire vehicle, of which the camaro really is a gem, especially for the price.

On the bright side, you should be able to order replacement parts fairly easily (and the aftermarket mods on the camaro are snowballing with sweet goodies already) when you have the fundage to upgrade to the level you really want it at.

THis is a way for people to be able to afford the car. The reason for the LS 1LT etc...

If you don't like it change the steering wheel and shifter out.

Sorry to sound rude here dude but you gotta pay to play.

This is basically like going to a steakhouse, ordering a T-bone and complaining that it doesn't taste like a Filet Mignon. If you wanted the taste of a Filet Mignon, you should have ordered a Filet Mignon.

Not everyone wants the same options. If you wanted the options from the 2LT, than you should have gotten a 2LT.
Why don't you order the car with the C&C package and trade the leather steering wheel with the op later on and both of you would be happy...

I don't think you got my point. The Camaro is NOT front wheel drive, therefor it does not have "FWHP". Also it does not have 304 any wheel horsepower. It has 304 bhp.

I knew what he meant when he said FWHP. FWHP usually means flywheel horsepower, not front wheel horsepower. Especially when talking about an obviously rear-wheel drive car. You're all good man, some of us understood what you meant.

Misunderstanding I suppose. FWHP generally means front wheel horse power.

no, not really. it means Fly Wheel.

If you looked you would see I own a 2SS and would more than likely know the car is RWD, but you wanted to toss that fail slam to badly.

It happens, I do it to myself routinely.

I've sat in a LS and my 2SS, and let me tell you, it's a WORLD of difference.

If this is your daily driver then the 2LT/2SS is a must.

I feel like I would have been more satisfied with a 2lt interior but the point is I shouldn't have to pay that much extra for a decent interior in an almost $30,000 car. I was already upset that I wasnt going to have the four pack gauges in the center of the car but then I get the car and you mean to tell me that the steering wheel and shifter aren't at least leather wrapped but are hard plastic? I'm sorry but all of these cars should have leather wrapped steering wheels and shifter's as standard not as an add on on the 2lt. You should still be able to have a leather wrapped steering wheel with shifter regardless if your interior is cloth or not. Really the gauge pack should come automatic on all of them too but the steering wheel & shifter is a no brainer.
Its just sad when I had a lower model 04 Eclipse GS not even a high end one that I payed less for than this car and it had a leather wrapped steering wheel and shifter that was standard on the car even without it being a top model why couldn't GM do the same with this car? Instead now I have a hard plastic steering wheel and shifter and not the smooth leather feel of my 04 Eclipse. Not to mention my Camaro has been driven very very little and still squeeks when going in reverse a problem I never have had with a new car before. It seems like GM makes you pay more for little things and imports are including them as standard in their cars. And no one can say im being biased because I am just telling what I have seen so far from cars I have owned and giving facts.

Maybe you should have done your homework before you bought your car.
